Phillips 66 acquired branding rights to forty-eight fueling stations in Southern California and needed to rebrand the sites. These locations are architecturally distinctive and use unusual building designs both to attract customers and enhance the buying experience. Phillips 66 and Sevan used a two phase approach to rebranding the individual sites. The first phase included the survey, design, material supply and soft rebranding consisting of various temporary image elements. The second phase included permitting the new image for signs, canopies, dispensers, and buildings. Sevan managed the soft rebrand and new-to-brand trades, marketer communications, construction quality control and the completion of project closeout packages for the Phillips 66 Brand Image Central team.
Sevan received Phillips 66 HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Global approval for consulting and construction within the U.S. Sevan’s own contractor pre-approval program is leveraged by Phillips 66 to assist with HSE compliance across the US. Sevan has been awarded HSE projects in the states of WA, TX and FL. Project work includes administering to and resolving HSE violations and environmental compliance.
Phillips 66 desired to ensure their brand image was standardized across the marketer class of trade. Phillips contracted with Sevan to initiate and manage the upgrade of Cash/Credit branding for their California locations. This consists of assembling a survey, design and implementation team to change signs at over 315 locations.
During their 2014 west coast leadership meeting, Phillips 66 leadership asked for an agreement to use Sevan more, saying...
...we totally approved and endorsed you. We can put a long-term service provider agreement in place.
