#GoNosetoNose to End Childhood Poverty
Downers Grove, IL – How does wearing a Red Nose on May 24 help end child poverty? It’s simple! By wearing a Red Nose — available at Walgreens and Duane Read stores — you help bring people together to have fun, raise money, and change the lives of kids who need our help the most.
Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by the nonprofit organization Comic Relief, Inc., which was launched in 2015, dedicated to ending child poverty both in the U.S. and in some of the poorest communities in the world. The money raised by Red Nose Day in the U.S. has benefited programs for children and young people in all 50 states and in 34 countries internationally. In the last three years, Red Nose Day has raised over $100 million and changed the lives of over 8 million children.
Stop by a Walgreens or Duane Reade store, the official retailers of the Red Nose, pens, pins and wristbands. Every time you buy a Red Nose, you’re supporting programs that keep children safe, healthy, and educated. Apart from buying a nose, you can also get involved by donating or organizing a fundraiser of your own!
