Sevan Hosts 1st Annual Summer @ Sevan Internship Orientation
Downers Grove, IL – Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, LLC (Sevan) welcomed 29 interns and co-ops to our 1st Annual Summer @ Sevan Internship Orientation. Similar to Sevan’s New Hire Orientation, the interns traveled to the Downers Grove Headquarters on July 18 – 19 to learn about our company, our culture, and the clients we serve.
Sevan’s talented interns and co-ops are spread across the United States from Boise, Idaho to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Cincinnati, Ohio. The program has interns and co-ops from colleges like University of Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Colombia College Chicago and Michigan State University. While working at Sevan, they gain valuable real-world experience while getting insights into our business by working for a variety of leading clients including McDonalds, Walgreens and 7-Eleven.
Chief Training Officer Ron Deffenbaugh alongside People Relations Coordinator Morgan Ehemann lead our team members and interns by enhancing employee performance and satisfaction. As mentor and leader for the interns and co-ops, Deffenbaugh focuses on educating young minds on how to become effective leaders and how to be successful with career opportunities.
Throughout the orientation, the interns and co-ops heard from Sevan’s leadership, including President & CEO Jim Evans; Chief Operations Officer, Construction, Services Steve Kuhn; Chief Operations Officer, Design, Tom Glatz; VP, Technology & Innovation, Jason Bentley; SVP, Operations, Mark Kinnare; SVP, Operations, Nick Peters and VP, Design, Ed Hurst.
To top off the two-day event with some fun, the group enjoyed a night of food and bowling at Pinstripes just a few minutes down the road from the Downers Grove HQ. A little friendly competition sparked conversation and laughs as interns, co-ops and team members got to know one another better.
