Sevan Team Volunteers for Ronald McDonald House Charity Telethon

Sevan team members recently participated in the Change the Luck of a Child Telethon, which benefited the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and raised over $1 million in just 14 hours.

From Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Angelica Poole, Senior Project Manager, Scott Poole, Project Executive, and Jessica Scott, Senior Project Manager, all helped answer phones and take donations during the event, which was broadcasted live on both TV and radio through Philadelphia CBS 3 Studios.

Sevan is proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities around the country and has made countless donations to the organization. For this telethon, which took place on March 26, Sevan contributed $5,000 to help the Ronald McDonald House keep the families of the sick children together and close to the care and resources they need.

The work that the charity does is all based off of donations. Sevan is delighted to donate as well as have passionate team members who support charities. Angelica Poole was happy to volunteer her time for this cause.

“Ronald McDonald House Charities provide support and the families don’t pay anything,” Poole said. “All because of the contributions people make.”

Sevan has been working with McDonald’s for nearly eight years. During this time, Sevan has helped install donation collection bins in the drive-throughs of the McDonald’s restaurants. Recently, Sevan has been installing counters in new stores with donation boxes built in.

“We were there to represent Sevan,” Poole said. “And Sevan’s name was mentioned throughout the entire timeframe. They were very, very happy to see us. They recognized us, they knew who we were and what we do.”
