Sevan Hosts 2020 Sevan Symposium

EVENT HELD SEPT. 10 TO DISCUSS MULTI-SITE INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES AND TRENDS

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (November 10, 2020) – Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. (Sevan) – a global leader in innovative design, program management, construction services and data analytics – hosted its 2020 Sevan Symposium on Thursday, September 10 at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook.

The fourth annual event brought together 50 of Sevan’s clients, contractors and executives to discuss the current trends of the multi-site industry and to collaboratively plan for the future. This year’s Symposium focused on “Raising the Bar” in program delivery by leveraging the best practices, data and lessons learned in the multi-site industry. The event paired conversations with collaboration of experiences and ideas brought to the table to discuss the best practices for clients and partners alike.

We heard from industry leaders on trending topics — including insights on an agile approach to multi-site work — and enjoyed a Technology, Data & Innovation panel, small-group breakout discussions and an evening cocktail reception. Michael Bellaman, president and CEO of Associated Builders and Contractors, closed out the evening as the Symposium’s keynote speaker.

“The best part of the Symposium was seeing people working on topics that are common to all, but they each have different perspectives on the issues, said Sevan’s Executive Vice President Steve Kuhn. “And then having them come together and agree on the challenges and talk through solutions.”

To protect the safety of all the individuals attending, Sevan followed state health and safety protocols. The health and well-being of clients, business partners and team members is always a top priority.

“We monitored the situation closely to make sure we were following guidelines,” Kuhn added. “Everyone who participated was wearing a mask and hand sanitizer was supplied to all attendees, which allowed us to safely go through the day’s events.”

The Sevan Symposium was paired with two other successful events including the Safety Excellence Awards dinner on Thursday night followed by the Sevan Charitable Golf Classic on Friday morning at Cantigny Golf Course in Wheaton. The combination of three major Sevan events brought our valued clients, contractors and team members together for great collaboration, conversations and networking.

In 2020, Sevan was recognized as an Employee-Rated Great Place to Work for the 7th consecutive year and ranked No. 124 on the Financial Times FT 1000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies. In 2018, Great Place to Work and FORTUNE ranked Sevan No. 29 on the list of 100 Best Medium Workplaces. A full list of awards and rankings Sevan has earned to date is available on Sevan’s website.
