CHALLENGE
In 2021, Luxottica started remodelling North American stores for various brands including LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Ray Ban, Target Optical and Pearle Vision. The remodel includes complex millwork installation that follows very specific brand standards. Before beginning each project, all Luxottica locations go through a lease review to ensure their current location is still viable for many years and supports a remodel.
SOLUTION
Sevan’s programme management teams start the process by conducting lease reviews on behalf of corporate and franchise locations, then provide a report to Luxottica’s support teams for review. Next, our PMs lay out the millwork installation project which includes orders, costs, bidding and oversight of the brand prior to turnover. Sevan also manages the construction for corporate locations, ensuring all sites are completed to Luxottica’s standards on time and on budget.
RESULTS
To date, Sevan has completed work at 80 sites. We performed 205 lease reviews and managed 250+ millwork installations. Starting in 2022, Sevan will begin a time-lapse recording project to document the complexity of the millwork installation process as Luxottica investigates additional suppliers to streamline the remodel process.
